Alpha Terms

League Account

Codex Pet League login is separate from ChatGPT or Codex App sign-in. The League account is created through League email-code login during the alpha. Passkey and OAuth login may be added later.

Server Authority

The League server is authoritative for ownership, active pet selection, XP, Style XP, level, stats, battle class, HP, energy, cooldowns, battle results, replays, LP, seasons, matchmaking, and moderation state. Local files, browser state, CLI output, MCP data, and plugin data are not ranked-authoritative.

Pet Rules

• Each League account has one permanent active official pet selection.
• Pet assets must come from valid hatch-pet compatible packages or valid League uploads.
• Local pet file edits after registration do not change ranked state.
• No trading, selling, gifting, transferring, merging, or marketplace use is supported in the alpha.

Fair Play

Do not exploit bugs, automate abusive traffic, forge requests, replay battle actions, manipulate local files to affect ranked state, evade rate limits, farm friend duels, share sessions, or interfere with other users. Risk signals are reviewed before penalties whenever possible, but confirmed tampering can lead to ranked locks, rollback, asset hiding, or account enforcement.

Content Rules

Do not upload illegal, hateful, harassing, sexually explicit, violent, impersonating, privacy-invasive, or rights-infringing content. Pet assets, names, skill aliases, reports, and support submissions may be reviewed by automated moderation and human admin review.

Alpha Availability

The alpha may be paused, reset, limited, rolled back, or changed while the system is being tested. Ranked results, progression, cosmetics, and public records are not guaranteed to remain unchanged during the alpha.

No Warranty

The alpha is provided as-is for testing. Use it with non-sensitive data and keep local backups of anything important outside the League.
